The Experience
Founded in the 17th century and family-run for generations, St. Croix’s Buccaneer is the Caribbean’s and Virgin Islands’ longest running resort. Both historic and modern, the resort blends old world charm with warm hospitality and the amenities expected by today’s traveler. More than a hotel, The Buccaneer is a premier destination resort for golf, tennis, water sports, weddings, honeymoons and family vacations.

The Buccaneer Beach House at Whistle Point
The Buccaneer debuted The Buccaneer Beach House at Whistle Point in early 2013, a six-bedroom enclave surrounded by sea and gardens, including a main house, two cottages and a villa-style master suite.
The Beach House is located on a point just a short walk from the resort, overlooking our secluded Whistle Beach, Buck Island, sloping verdant mountains and the Caribbean Sea. A private pool offers vistas of the Sea and Christiansted. The main house features two en suite bedrooms, a full kitchen and a spacious living room with a half moon-shaped wrap-around terrace. An adjacent master suite villa includes a sitting area, bathroom with a whirlpool tub and shower with incredible views and a sunken bedroom and private exterior sitting area facing the sea and Buck Island. One cottage features two bedrooms and a sitting room, while the second cottage is a one-bedroom with a kitchenette.
