Ghana

Ghana is a developing country on the West Coast of Africa. The capital is Accra. Facilities for tourism are available in the population centers of the greater Accra region, Kumasi in the Ashanti region, and in the Cape Coast area of the Central region, but they are limited in the more remote areas of the country. For the traveller, Ghana is that latter-day unknown, unexplored and certainly an unexploited destination which abounds in an unbelievable array of striking attractions, distinctive and peculiar to each of the ten regions in Ghana. There are four major areas of interest to the tourist in Ghana, namely, Culture, History, Ecology and Recreation. Places of interest include Waterfalls and Mount Afadjato in the Volta region Kakum National Park, Castles, Cave, Forts , Boti Falls, Lake Bosomtwi, Larabanga Mosque, Buabeng Fiema Monkey Sanctuary, Makola Market, Paga Crocodile Ponds, National Culture Centre, Manhyia Palace, Accra and Ashanti.
