Punjab
Located in Northwest region of India, Punjab is renowned for its religious temples and archeological sites. It is an important tourism destination for people from all over the world.
Agriculture is the state biggest income source; however there are important industries as well. The weather here goes from very hot to very cold in the winter. From July until October is the monsoon season. The region is rich in fruit, like citrus, pomegranate, apple, peach, apricot, almond, plum and figs are a favorite crop here.
The most common religion in Punjab is Sikhism. The holy shrines, the Sre Harmandir Sahib, is in the city of Amritsar, and is one of the most visited temples in the world.
